We're very proud to announce that our digital medication dispenser system, Smila Gen 2, has earned two major awards! We developed this system for our client JDM Innovation GmbH. It's been honored with both the prestigious German Brand Award 2025 (in the "User Experience" category for brand communication) and the UX Design Award. Smila Gen 2: Making Medication Safer and Easier Smila Gen 2 is a cloud-based system designed to help older people take their medication correctly and safely. This significantly improves patient safety while streamlining caregivers' tasks. The system links a medication dispenser with a web app and a mobile app, allowing for remote monitoring, medication management, and even video calls. Juries Highlight Easy-To-Use and Accessible Design Both award juries were really impressed with how Smila Gen 2 takes a complex system and makes it smooth, user-friendly, and accessible for everyone. It's setting new standards in user experience by connecting patients, caregivers, and medical facilities in the best possible way. We're so proud of these awards for Smila Gen 2.
